2020 Monroe County Fall Migration Bird Walks

November 14 @ 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM

General Information

A different Monroe County public park will be featured each month as a meeting location. We will meet promptly at 8:00 AM and bird survey sheets will be handed out. We will go over some basic binocular use skills and have a bird of the day challenge to find either by sight or by sound. Coffee and donuts will be provided. After each bird walk we will go over our bird survey sheets to get total tallies and then enter those tallies to ebird. The SWCD will be able to provide a limited number of binoculars and bird ID guides.
